PSQ Analytics is an equity research service, launched in March 2009, with the objective of providing research on smaller quoted companies listed on the London Stock Exchange's (LSE's) Main Market and the Alternative Investment Market (AIM). This service is supported by the LSE with two independent research firms, viz. Argus Research and Pipal Research as the service providers. When launched, the service had three research providers. IIR Group, one of the initial service providers, filed for bankruptcy in early 2011. With this, the service of PSQ Analytics has virtually come to a halt with the last report posted in March 2011. Name The name PSQ Analytics is derived from the acronym 'PSQ' which stands for Paternoster Square, where the LSE premises are located in the City of London.
