Project Management Vision (PMV) is an Australian Registered Training Organization (RTO). It was founded in 2005 by Jatinder Ahuja, an oil and gas engineer, after working in the field of Electrical Instrumentation, Hazardous areas and Project Management for over 30 years. In 2009, PMV extended its scope of services to deliver Nationally Recognised Training across Australia. PMV has been operating in Brisbane since 2009, and Adelaide since 2018. Since then, PMV has delivered Nationally Recognised Training to over 6,500 graduates. History From 2012 to 2015, Chevron Australia contracted PMV, to upskill over 500 project electrical workers at their worldwide locations like DSME, South Korea, Liebherr Cranes, Germany etc. As of 2019, PMV has dedicated training facilities in Perth, Brisbane and Adelaide. Courses & Engineering Services Courses PMV offers post-trade vocational training courses in the fields of EEHA, electrical instrumentation and control systems. Qualifications awarded include: * UEE42611 Certificate IV in Hazardous Areas Electrical * UEE31211 Certificate III in Instrumentation and Control * UEE40411 Certificate IV In Electrical Instrumentation * UEE42211 Certificate IV in Instrumentation and Control * UEE31211 Certificate III in Instrumentation and Control * UEE51011 Diploma of Instrumentation and Control Engineering * UEE50211 Diploma of Electrical & Instrumentation * UEE61511 Advanced Diploma of Instrumentation and Control Engineering * UEE62111 Advanced Diploma of Engineering Technology - Electrical * PV Solar Installation Training Engineering Services Since inception, the company also offers consultancy services in HAC + Design; HAVD; HA Compliance Audit and remediation work as per IEC/ AS/NZS standards; Electrical Instrumentation and Control, as turnkey solutions. National and State Funding During the Australian mining boom from 2009 to 2014, PMV secured funding from the Australian Federal National Workplace Development Fund (NWDF), Industry Skill Fund (ISF) and Higher Skill Find (HSF) in QLD to upskill electrical workers in order to meet the requirement of national skill shortages. From 2011 to 2015, PMV delivered training to over 1000 Communication, Electrical and Plumbing Union, Western Australia (CEPUWA) members and over 1000 Master Electricians Association (MEA) members. In 2018, PMV secured Apprenticeship and Traineeship Funding in Western Australia through the Department of Training and Workforce Development (DTWD). In 2019, PMV secured WorkReady SA Funding in South Australia through the Government of South Australia's WorkReady initiative. Affiliations Since 2010, PMV has developed an affiliation with the Electrical Trades Union Western Australia (ETUWA) and Master Electricians Australia (MEA). In 2017, PMV formed PMV Solar Academy, an alliance with Regen Power and GoSolar, to begin delivering PV Solar Design and Install courses. In 2018 PMV formed alliance with and Alltrade Engineering, Malaysia. In 2019 PMV formed alliance with PEER Group (South Australia) and with the Institute of Instrumentation, Control and Automation.
