The ProFusion Canadian Professional Imaging Expo is an annual Canadian trade show showcasing vendors, new technology, seminars and demonstrations in the fields of Professional Video, Video Production and Photo/Video Convergence. The event is produced by Vistek, Ltd and takes place in Toronto, Ontario each June and features a roster of industry-leading manufacturers such as Sony, Canon, Panasonic, Phase One, Elinchrom, Lastolite, JVC, Steadicam, Kino Flo, Redrock Micro, Sachtler, Sennheiser, among others. It is the only trade show of its kind in Canada. History Created in 2009, the event was built around to the desire to have a Canadian-based trade show for the field of Professional Video and was the first-ever professional video trade show in Canada. Since that time, it has morphed from its original format as the ProFusion Video Expo into its current incarnation of ProFusion Imaging Expo, and showcases both the fields of Photo & Video. Highlights 2013 Tuesday, June 18 & Wednesday, June 19 2012 Tuesday, June 19 & Wednesday, June 20 Confirmed presenters at ProFusion 2012 include Greg Gorman, Bill Frakes, Peter Abraham, Gary Adcock, Alex Buono, Seth Resnick, Adam Forgione, Joan Hutton, Sarah Moffat, Douglas Spotted Eagle, Alex Buono, Jeff Schewe, Juri Chabursky, Gary Fong, Cherie Steinburg and Hedley Jones. 2011 Friday, June 17 & Saturday, June 18 After its inaugural Pro Video Expo & Tradeshow, ProFusion 2011 broadened its scope to include the complementary world of Pro Photography. The event doubled in size and attendance with an increased number of special events and seminars. 2010 Friday, June 18 & Saturday, June 19 The first annual event saw over 2,000 attendees, full seminar rooms (the Philip Bloom & Rodney Charters events attracted more attendees than the originally-schedule room could accommodate; a last minute schedule change allowed for overflow) & a Demo Theatre with a rotating schedule of events.
