Professional Risk Manager

The Professional Risk Manager (PRM™) designation is an international professional certification offered by the Professional Risk Managers' International Association (PRMIA). To be awarded the PRM™ designation, candidates must complete four examinations that cover the major topics in financial risk management.
The PRM™ is one of the leading certifications for risk managers, competing with the Financial Risk Manager (FRM) certification offered by the Global Association of Risk Professionals. The main distinction among the Professional Risk Managers' International Association and the Global Association of Risk Professionals is that the former is a Nonprofit organization, while the second is not. The Professional Risk Managers' International Association were created after the so-called "GARP scandal".
