Prerna Suri is an Indian journalist, and the India correspondent for Al Jazeera English, a leading international news network headquartered in Doha, Qatar. She has reported for a wide range of publications and broadcasters across the Middle East and India.
Suri was a correspondent for CNN-IBN, one of India’s leading news networks, headquartered in New Delhi. She joined Al Jazeera English in early 2009, and has reported on a wide variety of events, including the Indian elections, Presidental visits, drug trafficking and maternal mortality deaths.
Education
Prerna Suri graduated with a M.Sc. from the London School of Economics, and a B.A. (Hons.) in Journalism from Lady Shri Ram College for Women - a liberal arts school in New Delhi.
