Pottankandy Abdulla is an Indian politician, businessman and social worker.
He was born to Pottankandy Kunhammed Haji and Kunjami Hajjumma. Born in a Muslim family at Kadavathur,Kannur district, Kerala. His father was also a well known politician and was President of Triprangotur Grama Panchayath for a long period. PK ventured into the political arena as an activist of Muslim Students Federation (MSF), the student wing of the party. PK completed his graduation in Zoology from Farook College Kozhikode. Later he started up his business in Dubai and became successful. He is the Chairman of Al Madina Group of Companies Dubai, Vice President of Indira Gandhi Co-Operative Hospital, Kallikkandy NAM College Committee(MEF) Treasurer, Muslim League - Kerala state committee member, Kannur District vice president, Koothuparamba Constituency President, Kadavathur Area Committee President,United Democratic Front (UDF)-an alliance of political parties of Kerala state- Koothuparamba Constituency Chairman, CH Centre, a charitable institution serving poor cancer patient- Malabar Cancer Centre region Chairman,Kadavathur Nusrathul Islam Sanagam General Secretary, Kadavathur Town Masjid Committee President, Kadavathur Al Huda Trust President etc.
