The Port George Jamboree is a country music fundraiser held annually on the last Saturday of July in the seaside community of Port George, Nova Scotia. The Lions Clubs from the surrounding communities of Middleton, Kingston, and Lawrencetown sponsor the event with the support of more than 200 volunteers. All funds raised are returned to local communities. The Port George Jamboree starts with a pancake breakfast and ends with a baked-bean supper. This popular all-day event overlooking the Bay of Fundy features a number of local country music artists and other activities including a 200-table flea market.
