Platinum Dreams is an independent full length feature film. Set in New York City, it centers on a record label owner named Jason Thomas. Platinum Dreams is part of a trilogy, with the sequel being filmed next and the prequel filmed last. All three revolve around Jason Thomas and the ups and downs of both the music industry and his
personal life.
In Platinum Dreams, Jason takes on the task of trying to make two unique artists into huge Pop stars, which goes against all industry standards as well as the wishes of most of his staff.
As a single-parent, Jason's personal life has it's challenges as well.
Production History
Platinum Dreams (which is in production) was written and being directed by Lorenzo Anderson.The prequel is based on his true life story. While Platinum Dreams and the sequel have a fictional storyline, a few of the characters are based on real people.
The soundtrack for the film is pop, hip-pop, and rock/pop genre. All of the artists who contributed to the soundtrack are talented but are still unknown in the music industry. The release date for the soundtrack is September 20, 2010.
The film will go directly to DVD and be released in 2011.
