Phoenix Recordings

The Phoenix Recordings are a set of unofficial recordings by Kate Bush, made in 1976.

In 1982, the recording was played on Phoenix, Arizona radio station KSTM by John Dixon, a former EMI employee. Dixon read the song titles from the tape box. The recordings later appeared as a set of 45 RPM singles with two songs per release. One additional song, "Organic Acid" featuring a poem read by her older brother John Carder Bush, was released on vinyl but was not aired. A 29 track compilation was released in 1993 as Cathy's Home Demos on Blue Moon Records

Bush has taken legal action against commercial releases of her unreleased material, but appears to have refrained from pursuing non-commercial fan sites hosting the material.
