Phillip E. Baucus

Phillip E. Baucus (September 24, 1977–July 29, 2006) was a Corporal in the United States Marine Corps killed in the Iraq War during combat operations in the Anbar province of Iraq. He was the nephew of United States Senator Max Baucus, a Democrat from Montana. The 28-year-old Baucus had been a resident of Wolf Creek, Montana, and was a member of the 3rd Light Armored Reconnaissance Battalion, 1st Marine Division, I Marine Expeditionary Force. The funeral was the site of protests by members of the Westboro Baptist Church. |
