Archie L. Turner

Archie L. Turner is a retired career U.S. Army Quartermaster Command Sergeant Major and Quartermaster Hall of Fame member. His career spanned over 32 years of service.
Military career
CSM Turner was drafted into the Army in January 1973, Induction Station, Coral Gables, Florida. He attended Basic Training at Fort Knox, Kentucky, later graduating from the Unit Supply, Stock Control, and Accounting Course at Fort Ord, California. He served in numerous leadership positions such as Squad Leader, Supply Sergeant, Platoon Sergeant, Chief Logistics Operations Sergeant, Force Integration/Modernization Analyst, First Sergeant, and Command Sergeant Major.

Education
His civilian education includes an Associate's Degree in Liberal Arts and a Bachelor of Science degree in Management Studies from University of Maryland, and iin July, 2012 , Turner earned his Master of Business Adminstration (MBA) form Strayer university, Washington, DC. He attended numerous military courses and schools ranging from the Noncommissioned Officer Logistics Program, the Army Air Assault School, the Garrison Sergeants Major Course, Command General Staff College's Force Integration and Development Course, Advanced Noncommissioned Officers Course, Race Relations and Equal Opportunity Course, First Sergeant's Course, Battle Staff Course, United States Army Sergeants Major Academy and Command Sergeants Major Designee Course.

He is a Distinguished Member of the Quartermaster Regiment. was inducted into the U.S. Army Quartermaster Hall of Fame in June 2010.
