Jimmy W. Tiner

Jimmy W. Tiner is a retired career U.S. Army Quartermaster Property Book Warrant Officer who served in numerous airborne and special operations assignments.
Military career
Chief Warrant Officer Five Tiner received a direct appointment as a Warrant Officer One in June 1976. He has served in a variety of career progressive assignments that include: Property Book Team Chief, 82d Airborne Division and 2d Infantry Division; Chief, Edit and Document Control, 82d Airborne Division; Chief, Asset Visibility, Division Materiel Management Center, 3rd Armored Division; Property Book Officer, 34th Signal Battalion; Brigade Supply Technician, 93rd Signal Brigade; Installation Property Book Officer, US Army Engineer Center and School, Fort Belvoir, Virginia; Division Property Book Officer, 3rd Armored Division-Operation Desert Storm; Air Equipment Supply Officer, 82d Airborne Division; Warrant Officer Management Officer, XVIII Airborne Corps and Fort Bragg, North Carolina; and Chief, Supply Management Division and Property Book Officer, United States Army Special Operations Command.
He retired from active duty on January 31, 2006, culminating a 37 year Quartermaster career.
Education
He has completed every level of the Warrant Officer Education System. His military education includes the Warrant Officer Advanced, Staff and Senior Staff Courses; the Quartermaster Supply and Service Management Officer Course; Airborne and Jumpmaster training courses. His civilian education includes a Business Management Degree from Campbell University, Buies Creek, North Carolina.
