William M. Johnson is a Command Sergeant Major in the United States Army. He is, as of August 14th, 2009, the Command Sergeant Major of the 1st Armored Division. Military Career == CSM Johnson entered military service in February of 1986 as an infantryman. Throughout his career he has held numerous leadership positions within the infantry branch of the US Army. His tours include duty with the 1st battalion of the 187th infantry regiment under 82nd Airborne Division and 7th Special Forces Group at Fort Bragg, North Carolina.
