Phil D. Foster

Phil Foster (born Phillip DeWayne Foster, December 27, 1977, Compton, California) is an American actor, writer, and director.
Foster is best known for his role in Axeman 2: Overkill and The Academy. He has also appeared in numerous commercials and print ads including for Turbo Tax (2012), Virgin Mobile (2013), and Burlington Coat Factory (2013).
After his parents separated, Foster's mother moved to Hawthorne, California to escape a dangerous life. He attended Leuzinger High School, where he got his first shot at acting and won best actor for his role as Blifil in the school play Tom Jones. Foster went on to take classes and eventually started working professionally in 2007, appearing on shows such as Numb3rs and '.
In 2006, Foster created and nationally distributed Array DVD magazine, a magazine that explored the sub-currents of popular culture. It was the first DVD magazine to hit the market, and Foster's first shot at writing and directing.
He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Communications with a concentration in Media Studies from California State University Dominguez Hills.
