Peter Paul Szabo (born August 8, 1939) is a Hungarian-born American film actor, rock and roll singer, and songwriter. He is best known for his role in the 1960 film Jukebox Racket in which he wrote the soundtrack and played a young rock and roll singer. Szabo was born in 1939 in Szombathely, Hungary. Szabo moved to Munich, Germany in 1956 where he attended a private high school at Schule Schloss Salem. In 1959, Szabo moved to New York City and pursued a career in acting. Szabo gained public attention through his involvement in a gunfight with Salvatore Macagnione, who shot Szabo in his Manhattan apartment because of his involvement with his then girlfriend.
