Pete Kovacs (Peter Kovacs, Peter Hagyo-Kovacs) is the author of Humble King Returning King, his first book. Pete Kovacs was born in Toronto's Mount Sinai Hospital and raised in the Greater Toronto Area by parents who emigrated from Hungary to Canada, and is ethnically Hungarian-Jewish with Hungarian, Ashkenazi, Sephardic, and Mizrahi roots. Though not raised in an observant Jewish home he identifies as Messianic Jewish. He currently resides in Jerusalem, Israel. Education Pete Kovacs is currently enrolled at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Institute of Archaeology. He holds a B.A., (University of Toronto), B.Ed. (Queen's University), M.Div. (Tyndale University College & Seminary), and participated in the Alliance Defense Fund 2002 Blackstone Legal Fellowship as a U.S. constitutional law intern/researcher after his first year of law school at Santa Clara University School of Law, and was a visiting student in Archaeology at the University of Toronto, Near Eastern Studies Department.
