MJZine.com

MJZine.com was a webzine for the 20s-30s generation in the Messianic Jewish community. It was the first and only webzine created by and for the younger generation of the Messianic Jewish community to foster and build the sense of being one people. Its creation was the brain child of three individuals, Justin Kron, Derek Leman, and Peter Hagyo-Kovacs (P.A. Kovacs in MJZine.com) who conceptualized the webzine while sitting poolside during a break at a leadership conference in Orlando, Florida in 2001. The first issue was published to the Internet in January 2001 and subsequent issues were published in March and May of 2001.
References to MJZine.com are found in academic journals in the Christian community and it was also reviewed in the Messianic Times by Donita Painter, a freelance journalist and contributing writer to MJZine.com.
After the May 2001 issue the creators of MJZine.com decided to cease publication due to Peter Hagyo-Kovacs moving to the USA after completion of his Master's degree to begin law school.
