"Permanent Monday" is the tentative fourth single (fifth overall, including "This Is My Now") from American Pop/R&B artist Jordin Sparks, from her eponymous debut album. In an interview with "Johnjay and Rich" Jordin revealed that she would like for the song to be officially released in the U.S. later on this year. However, many sources claim that Jive is pushing for "Freeze" to be the fourth single instead, so "Permanent Monday"'s release is only tentative at this point. In a YouTube video, Jordin has described the song as being very relatable, "...whether you're in school and mondays just seem to drag on forever" or "You're in love with somebody and when they leave its just like 'Nooo! Come back!' kind of thing". She added on by saying that she felt "very very blessed and honored to have been able to record and the song and put it on my album". |
