Paul G. King

Paul Gregory King is a retired American analytical chemist who currently works at the Coalition for Mercury Free Drugs along with the father and son duo of Mark Geier and David Geier, the organization's vice president and treasurer, respectively. King is the organization's secretary. Stephen Barrett has noted that while CoMeD has repeatedly filed petitions to the FDA in an effort to get them to ban thimerosal in vaccines, they have not been successful, with the FDA finding in 2006 that its conclusions were legally and scientifically unsupportable.
Education
King obtained his MS in 1969 in inorganic chemistry from Emory University. In 1974, he obtained his PhD in analytical chemistry, also from Emory. His dissertation won a Sigma Xi award for scientific excellence.
Career
After obtaining his PhD he travelled to the University of Georgia in Athens, where he worked for one year as an assistant professor. He worked for American Cyanamid from 1976 to 1981. More recently, he founded the consultancy organization FAME Systems.
