Aaron Sanders

Aaron Sanders, author of The Resurrection Men, holds a PhD in American literature from the University of Connecticut and an MFA in fiction from the University of Utah. Currently, Aaron is an Assistant Professor of English at Columbus State University in Georgia where he teaches literature and creative writing.
His recent fiction has appeared in Gulf Coast, Quarterly West, Beloit Fiction Journal, Hawaii Review, Karamu, Oddfellow Magazine, and Jabberwock Review, and has been featured on WAMC’s “The Roundtable” (Northeast Public Radio). His story, “Sex With Mother: Mormon Style,” was nominated for the 2007 Pushcart Prize, and “My Scrapbook of John Turturro” won UConn’s 2006 Graduate Writing Award. In 2005, Aaron co-founded The Lumberyard: A Radio Magazine of Poetry, Prose, & Music, which has been featured on NPR affiliates around the country.
