Paul Castran

Paul Castran (born 1960) is CEO of Castran Gilbert.
Paul Castran started in the real estate industry at Stewart Gull. Pauls first role was as a ‘Cadet Valuer’, completing valuations all around Melbourne during the week, then working as a real estate sales person on weekends. It was during his employ at Stewart Gull, that Paul met his future business partner Dennis Gilbert. In 1982, Stewart Gull sold Paul his 50% share, and Castran Gilbert was established.
Dennis and Paul opened 3 additional offices in Ringwood North, Dandenong and Wantirna, growing their business considerably. In 1990 Paul & Dennis set up a new office in Toorak Road, purchasing a number of rent roles, and operating in one of Melbournes most affluent suburbs.
Paul is a winner of the Real Estate Institute of Victoria (REIV) Awards for Excellence for his work on the marketing campaign for the Diamond Hills Estate.
In July 2009, Paul Castrans brother John survived an avalanche whilst skiing in New Zealand.
Paul's wife, Megan Castran, is a well known Melbourne identity operating a successful jewelery business, and YouTube channel. Megan has designed jewelery for a number of celebrities, including Australian runner and athlete, Jana Rawlinson.
In February 2008, Paul Castran received local and international media attention . The case was eventually dropped by Mr Castran and Mr Forytarz.
