Laser Division - P.A.W.N. LASERS
History
P.A.W.N. LASER was formed in 1988 to provide the heavy laser infrastructure of the media group "P.A.W.N." (Joseph Reese & Mark Anton Read.) Read temporarily left P.A.W.N. around 1995 to work on other projects, such as moving to Iceland to be an Executive Producer for 53 Television Episodes for Nickelodeon - Nick Jr. Lazy Town and worked on other films such as Harry Potter 7, Disney/Zarathustra, DreamWorks Prod. Tropic Thunder, Coca-Cola 2002-Olympics: mini movie, Disney: Winnie the Pooh, Shrek 1, 2 & 3 in 3D for Dreamworks, Comcast Stereoscopic-3D film - 2011 World Championship billiards, and many more motion pictures. While at Lazy Town, Read developed a new technique of recording post-production live in studio with out the use of a green screen in which he was credited in a feature cover article in American Cinematographer. There he designed a full resolution (1920x1080 4:4:4) virtual cinematography studio for the facility that aloud most of the work flow to be realized at once, with out post production. Additionally Read, has been credited by the manufacturer with redesigning the use of Hollywood's most used camera, the Arri Alexa and their LED Kits.
P.A.W.N. eventually became one of the largest laser companies in the industry, and one of the longest operating Laser lighting display companies under the additional management of Matt Falcone since 1995. Lunar Magazine stated, "P.A.W.N brings out some of the best & brightest lasers they ever seen, many people completely turned their backs to DJ booth to be mesmerized by the lasers." Mixer Magazine, mentioned in an article about the Future Festival in Atlanta GA, that the magazine spent the majority of their night inside P.A.W.N.'s lights." Projection, Lights, & Staging News says about P.A.W.N., "The company is one of the first five Laser Light Show companies started and made in the USA."

P.A.W.N. is also a Festival Producer & Music Publisher credited with introducing Electronic dance music - to the United States after Frankie Bones's Storm events in NYC & after the NASA events by DJ Scotto in NYC (Producer of Ravestock "Festival in Festival" at Woodstock '94 NY.) P.A.W.N. produced the 1st major outdoor EDM festival in the USA "In The Beginning" in 1993 on the slopes at Blue Mountain Ski Area Resort in PA; and their most recent, 3D-EDM in 2012 at Citizens Bank Park Stadium Parking Lot, home of Philadelphia Phillies MLB Baseball. The Philadelphia Daily News discusses in an interview with Matt Falcone from P.A.W.N. how their most recent event 3D-EDM at Citizen's Bank Park Stadium Parking Lot, which consisted of two area's: a concert stage, and a Drive in Movie Theater included a technology they call "3D Free Space Holography" in which viewers can see 3D images floating in the air with out the use of special 3D glasses accomplished by projecting laser light with their atmospheric conditioning machines; and that they are the only Movie Theater in the world with this technology.

P.A.W.N. Recordings
P.A.W.N. is also a Music Publisher still active today, which also originated in 1988 primarily in Acid Rock music, then converting to electronic acid house dance music around 1992-1993. Circa 2000, P.A.W.N. Recordings was distributing 12" vinyl internationally by Simon Blade of Unique Records Distribution (UK) at record store outlets across the globe & they also distributed to Chris Fortier's - Balance Record Pool which led to Billboard Magazine's (Liam Kennedy) charting P.A.W.N. #13 in the Dance Charts. P.A.W.N. also distributed audio tape cassette & retail clothes by Untranslatable Concepts, and 360 from the Louisville, Kentucky Area.
Additionally, P.A.W.N. produced the percussion, drums, and bass on an Akai MPC2000 with in Philadelphia that were used on songs for his album which also featured Janet Jackson, that reached Diamond worldwide (10,000,000+) and Platinum 6 times (6,000,000+) in the United States. The album also won best-selling album at the 2002 Juno Awards and was Billboard 200 charts number one #1 Album 2/17/01 to 4/13/01. Hot Shot went on to be certified eight times platinum in the United States according to the RIAA. The album has sold an estimated 10 million copies worldwide.
This album was the second highest-charting studio album of 2001 on the Album Charts, and succeeded The Beatles' 1 at the top of the album chart in February 2001.
