Only Dads is a UK-based not-for-profit organisation dedicated to providing support and counselling services for single fathers: lone male parents who, due to separation or bereavement, find themselves as head of family. The organisation was created by Robert Greig in 2007. It was the first support organisation offering signposting and support for the UK’s 200,000 dads raising children on their own. OnlyDads is raising awareness of the issues and problems faced by many lone father households, and in 2010 spoke in Westminster alongside the Fatherhood Institute to help bring some of these concerns to wider attention. |
