Olivia Dewi Soerijo

Olivia Dewi Soerijo (January 16, 1995 - March 10, 2012) was an Indonesian model and the daughter of businessman Soerijo Gondo Setiawan and model-actress Natalie Kristiana Margareth. She landed First-Runner Up for GADIS Sampul, a well-reputed modeling competition in Indonesia, on the year 2010.
Soerijo, while pursuing her modeling career, was attending high school at the Morning Star Academy in Jakarta.
On March 10, 2012 around 3 am, Soerijo was with a friend, Joy Sebastian, while driving using her Nissan Juke at the Mid Plaza, Nugra Santana in Jakarta. She lost control over her vehicle and crashed  at a post which caused her unconsciousness. Minutes later, her car bursted into flames. There were rescue units that were able to respond. She was fatally burned while her friend was saved with severe burns.
Investigation on the incident was held by the Jakarta Police. Soerijo's family filed a case against the manufacturer of the Nissan Juke. Autopsy was also done on her remains and based on the toxicology exam, Soerijo was beyond the alcohol level suitable for driving.
Soerijo's funeral was held for two days. On March 12, 2012, she was laid to rest at San Diego Hills Memorial Park in East Karawang, Jawa Barat.
