Dr. Oded Bahat, BDS, MSD, FACD, is an American periodontist and researcher, focused on dental implants, surgical implant placement, esthetic plastic and reconstructive procedures with his main practice in Beverly Hills, California. From 1983 to 1987 he was Chairman and Director of Post Doctorate Periodontics at the University of Southern California’s School of Dentistry. Biography Born in Tel Aviv, Israel, Dr. Bahat received his BDS from the University of the Witwatersrand School of Medicine and Dentistry in South Africa in 1977. He earned a specialist certificate in periodontics and a MSD postgraduate degree from the University of Washington in 1981. A Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology and a fellow of the American College of Dentistry, Dr. Bahat is on the review board of industry journals, such as the International Journal of Oral & Maxillofacial Implants, as well as the Clinical Implant Dentistry & Related Research.
