Hermina Dunz (February 24, 1898 - June 14, 2008) was an Austrian supercentenarian who was the oldest living person in the country of Austria at the time of her death in 2008 at the age of 110. Dunz was born on February 24, 1898, in the city of Zagreb, which at the time was located in the Austro-Hungarian Empire, but is currently the capital city of Croatia.<ref name=iht/> She settled in present-day Austria and gained Austrian citizenship.<ref nameiht/> She never had children.<ref nameiht/> Dunz lived independently for most of her life, only moving to a retirement home when she was 101 years old.<ref nameiht/> She celebrated her 110th birthday with a party in the city of Graz, Austria, in February 2008.<ref nameiht/> Her party was attended by Graz Mayor Siegfried Nagl, who was quoted as saying at the time that Dunz was in good shape for a woman of her age.<ref name=iht/> Hermina Dunz died on Saturday, June 14, 2008, in the city of Graz at the age of 110, according to reports by ORF.<ref name=iht/>
