Oakdale Middle School

Oakdale Middle School is an American middle school located in Ijamsville, Maryland, near the city of Frederick. It is in close proximity to both Oakdale Elementary and Oakdale High School.
History
Oakdale Middle School opened in January 2002. The school contains sixteen general purpose classrooms, four science labs, and a full-size gymnasium in addition to other areas, such as a media center and cafeteria. There is also an outdoor area owned by the school that is used for first-hand environmental education.
The school's motto is: “Cultivating Character and Academic Excellence through High Expectations”.
