Hayley Audriena Danner-Russell

Hayley A. Danner-Russell (born January 13, 1989) is an American actress, dancer, singer, and model. She is best known for her years of runway modeling for Gap, the face of Tyco Toys African-American Baby Wiggles and Giggles Doll which led to be the highest selling African-American doll on a national level to date , Mattel's national Barbie commercials featuring Hilary Duff , and her performance in the Kennedy Center's 25th Anniversary Special, featuring Robert Downey Jr., Barbara Walters, Lawrence Fishburne, and Morgan Freeman.


Biography
Hayley was born in Los Angeles, California, daughter of Cheryl Patrice Danner, a real estate agent. At the age of four, she and her mother moved to the Washington Metropolitan Area and began her education and her career in entertainment. Hayley began attending Evergreen Montessori School located in Kensington, Maryland and then transferred in the third grade to Stone Ridge School of the Sacred Heart. Being rambunctious and not always following rules, Hayley later transferred to Bethesda Chevy-Chase High School in Bethesda, MD, where she graduated and received a full tuition scholarship to Spelman College in Atlanta Georgia. Not quite finding her niche, or her passion for the arts being developed, Hayley applied, and was accepted to Vanderbilt University, receiving a full ride to the institution.

Film

A national commercial for Barbie, owned by Mattel, in which she portrayed a friend to Hilary Duff , a public service announcement for an Anti-Bullying Campaign by ABC 7, a featured character in a national commercial for asthma awareness in which she played the lead child with asthma, an educational video A Lobster's Tale in which she played the main character, and her biggest role in the Independent film In The Name of Justice where she was a supporting actress.

Theater
A Capitol Fourth, a celebration every fourth of July that takes place at the U.S. Capitol, located in Washington D.C., where she was a featured dancer and singer , and the Kennedy Center's 25th Anniversary Celebration featuring Robert Downey Jr. where Hayley played the lead dancer and actress.

Besides minor sightings, Hayley's most impressive shoot is the national campaign ad for Tyco Toys, Baby Wiggles and Giggles Doll, in the African American version. Leading sales to the millions and making that the most sought after black doll in the 90's.

Training
Hayley has completed most of her training in dance, beginning at the age of four, she has studied in numerous studios in the Washington, D.C. Metropolitan area. Studios including, Joy of Motion, New Arts School of Dance, Maryland Youth Ballet, University of Maryland, The Arts, and Jane Bittner's Studio of Dance.


Her acting skills were refined at the Musical Theater Center where she was a member of Upbeat Unlimited, a company that consists of highly skilled singers and dancers and serves as the Musical Theater Center's "roving ambassadors" by performing at special events and community service benefits locally, regionally, and nationally.
