* 1981: Establishment of the Chargeurs Group from the merger of the Chargeurs Réunis and the Pricel group.
* 1960: Establishment by the Pricel Group of the "Adhesive Tapes and Films" business.

Organisation
Coating
Coating enables an even layer of specially formulated adhesive to be applied to a medium (plastic or paper).
Coextrusion
Coextrusion permits multi-layered films to be produced from thermoplastic polymers, with one layer having adhesive characteristics specially tailored to the surface to be protected.

* Printing
Protective films can be printed with a logo, brand image or slogan. Print is often used also to state conditions of use and specifying technical standards.
* Local dedicated service centers
** Storage, slitting and Delivery:
Each service center has set up storage, slitting and rewinding equipment to get the optimal flexibility of service.
An information system common to all units guarantee a constant communication and enables NOVACEL to maintain a process of continuous improvement.
* Technical assistance:
Novacel technical assistance teams are able to recommend the most appropriate film, to advise on the selection and installation of equipment and to help with applying the films.
R&D / Innovation
NOVACEL has a dedicated in-house operational research laboratory.
