Marvin Berry and The Starlighters

Marvin Berry and The Starlighters is a fictional band portrayed in the 1985 film Back to the Future. The members of the band are Harry Waters, Jr. (as Marvin Berry, supposed to be the cousin of real-life Chuck Berry) performing lead vocals and guitar, and the Starlighters: Tommy Thomas on saxophone, Granville 'Danny' Young on the upright bass, David Harold Brown (as Reginald) on drums and Lloyd L. Tolbert on the piano. Tolbert, too, is a drummer, but played the keyboards for the studio recording. In the movie, this band performed at the Enchantment Under the Sea dance.<ref name="first"/>
