Northwest Weekly was an independent, local newspaper out of Prince Rupert and Terrace B.C. Canada. It ran from 2002-2004, its publisher was Rob Richie, and it held a 60,000 paper circulation within 43 Northwest communities including Kitimat and the Queen Charlotte Islands (Haida Gwaii). There were three offices, one in Terrace, one in Kitimat and one in Prince Rupert. Notable local humorist, Rudy Kelly (Rudy's Reflections) was featured in a weekly column. Some of its writers included Tod Strachan, Dave Hepburn, Shara JJ Cooper, Tyler Noble, CJ Volney, Gina Clark, Joe Zelwietro, Mitchell Soulfetaher, Margo Hearne and Apryl Veld, as well as Allisa Von Bargen, who was the last editor before the paper folded in December, 2004.
