Nick Disbray

Nick Disbray is an Australian singer, author, solo artist, songwriter, composer, and author of Fairy Tales and Adventure stories.
Formerly known as a member of 1980s rock group Big Pig, where he was male lead vocalist. Nick Disbray was born in Brighton, England and moved to Melbourne at the age of six. Disbray lived in St Kilda for over twenty years of his life, also spending time living in London where Big Pig was originally formed.
Following the demise of Big Pig in 1990, Disbray released the solo album Yep! in 1994.
"The Jazz Album" was released on the same year. This album saw Disbray hire the famous U47 valve jazz microphone, as used by Frank Sinatra and Nat King Cole. This album was recorded in a week and was the beginning of Nick Disbray's solo career. This marked a new era for him to explore and refine his songwriting.
1998 saw the release of the GIRL album, which was largely a funk record.
In 2015, Disbray released FREE and HERE albums.
In late 2015, he published two books on Amazon, "The Rifleman and The Fisherman", An Epic Tale of Adventure, and "The Tales Of Mandolina - Volume One", A book of Fairy Tales reminiscent of the style of Hans Christian Andersen.
In 2016, he published "Lewis And The Book Of Secrets", "Lewis And The Time Keeper", "Lewis In The Difference Forest" and "The Tales Of Mandolina - Volume Two".
In 2017, he published "The Device","The Tales Of Mandolina - Volume Three" and "Lewis And The Book Of Secrets - Childrens picture book" (in 10 languages).
