Neil Solondz

Neil Solondz is a radio broadcaster who is employed by the Tampa Bay Rays Radio Network.
Biography
Solondz joined the network in 2012 as a pregame/postgame host replacing Rich Herrera. He has also called games for the Durham Bulls from 2004 through 2011, 11 Thursday Night Baseball games that were aired live on the MLB Network along with USA Baseball games for the network, the Triple A All-Star Game]], the Triple-A National Championship game]], and for the Lakewood BlueClaws as well as the Quad City River Bandits. He also did college football and basketball as well; Solondz called games for ESPN3 for football, North Carolina State Wolfpack as a pregame/halftime/postgame host and fill-in color commentator and play-by-play broadcaster, Rutgers Scarlet Knights, and the Delaware State Hornets. The Rays hired Solondz in late 2011 to be their new pregame/postgame host and did fill-in play-by-play for the Rays. He has also been the host of This Week in Rays Baseball. Neil was also the director of media and public relations for the BlueClaws along with play-by-play duties and was the director of broadcasting for the Quad City Bandits baseball team. He was also the voice of the Somerset Patriots for two seasons from 1998 through 1999.
