All Bay Music Magazine

All Bay Music Magazine is an online music website and a west coast based hip-hop magazine. The app is accessible for all devices (Desktops, Tablets and Mobiles).
The project was initiated in 2001 by Ian Jackson to promote Bay Area Hip Hop acts from the West Coast. It emerged from being a website to a full printed magazine, mobile friendly website, and Apple Newsstand Application. The website is available for desktops, tablets, and mobiles.
Website
All Bay Music was founded in 2001 to help emerging artists. Since its beginning, it has had many facelifts including a span of 1-2 years where there was a loss of ownership because a third party hosting company shut down the site after a late payment, tried to sell the domain at a higher price, and after a year of legal disputes, the domain was awarded back to All Bay Music Magazine's owner.
In 2013, All Bay Music aligned the website into a creative partnership with the Hiram Group, which is a firm who manages popular hip hop website like 24HourhipHop.com. Shortly after they took over creative control of the brand, they gave allbaymusic.com a complete facelift which gave the website a similar look to 24HourhipHop.com.
Magazine
All Bay Music Magazine has released five issues to date, with covers respectively on The Jacka, Billy Blue, Dorrough, J Stalin, and B Legit.
In addition, the magazine gained support from well known artists like E40 and Keak Da Sneak. The publication also managed to create business relationships with Poe Boy Music Group, G Unit Records, Fontana Distribution, Core DJs, and later on to become a direct affiliate of 24HourHipHop.com.
Mobile
Thanks to a deal with PixelMags in early 2013, All Bay Music Magazine is one of the first localized hip hop publications to create an iPhone / iPad application, allowing to download issues digitally inside Apple's Newsstand. The application is also available for Kindle Fire and on Amazon.com.
