Despite being unsigned and a yet to be released album, Nayrok is arguably one of the most known and sought after singers in Dallas, Texas. She attributes part of her reluctance to sign with a major label to "the fulfilled love of live performance, without the conformity to label and industry politics.” She has been seen in 3 nationally distributed music videos and also has a nationalGAP ad that has been seen on billboards all over the world.

In 2006 the song Redemption, although not formally released was played on DFW local radio station leader KKDA(K104)as well as other national stations. The underground hit is a musical biopic based on the gift and the curse of being the sibling to Dallas's favorite soul sister. Nayrok sings from a music perspective inspired by years of love-hate relationships, triumphs and shortcomings. A car accident in 1999 caused by a drunken driver in Houston left Nayrok with two severely broken legs and two years of rehabilitation. This life-altering event briefly snatched some physical capabilities but strengthened her mentally and musically. The accident also birthed her personal motto as she ends every show with the cherished phrase to, “Love Hard, Live Hard, and Rok Harder!“
Nayrok's highly anticipated debut album, NAYROKULA is slated for release second quarter of 2010.
