Career
After Rodrigue retired from her pharmacy career in 1993, she devoted her time to writing.
Her success began with Hidden Mickey: Sometimes Dead Men DO Tell Tales!, a novel that starts with a spirited Mouse Adventure road rally through Disneyland. her characters, Adam Michaels and Lance Brentwood, stumble across a long-lost diary of Walt Disney’s. The diary hints of hidden treasure and leads them on a wild cross-country search filled with discoveries - about the famous man, his life, and about themselves. Nancy then went on to write the sequel and 2 more novels to complete her storyline in this series. Recognizing that the Hidden Mickey (series), were primarily written for the adult and teen reader (age 12+), Rodrigue penned the new Hidden Mickey Adventures (series), to allow teens and tweens (as well as the adult) to also enjoy her novels. as well as the new Hidden Mickey Quests (series) containing Quest type challenges and finding Hidden Mickeys inside the Disney parks, to enhance the Disney experience.
The paperbacks and eBooks have sold approximately 20 thousand copies worldwide. Rodrigue worked with co-author David W. Smith in the writing of her first two novels in the Hidden Mickey (series).
