Mariano Canaverys was an South American school teacher. Biography Born September 12, 1791 in Buenos Aires was the last male child of Juan Canaverys and Bernarda Esparza. He married in the city with the porteña Tiburcia Ravelo, daughter of Manuel Ravelo and Jacinta Pereyra. In 1820, the authorities of the cabildo appoint to Mariano, Preceptor of education in the Escuela de la Piedad, church school in Buenos Aires. He and his wife open a private school in the Olivos, northern part of the province of Buenos Aires. Mariano Canaverys was the maternal great-grandfather of General Enrique Mosconi. |
