Mustaqbal Pakistan

Mustaqbal Pakistan is a new political party set up in Pakistan in 2009, with the aim to develop a democratic institution; which will elect its own leaders based on the quality of their character, not the character of their blood. It shall not be the party of an individual or a family.
Mustaqbal, claims that Pakistan today is in danger and that this danger is beyond the ability of the existing political parties who, have brought the nation to this point of extreme danger. The people of Pakistan are restless - even desperate - for an alternative political party that will bring fundamental and revolutionary change to the way politics is conducted in Pakistan. And this is why Mustaqbal Pakistan was set up.
Policies
Mustaqbal's policies revolve around three central concerns: education, equality and justice. They believe that no society can progress in the presence of illiteracy and as a result place a special emphasis on education policy in their manifesto. They promise that within five years of assuming office there will be no Pakistani child who will be deprived of a primary education. Mustaqbal Pakistan also rejects the dichotomy of inequality within social classes in Pakistan and have vowed to remove it from society as a step towards sustainability. Mustaqbal further believes that justice cannot prevail in a society where there is no equality. The absence of justice is characterized by a slow, debilitating decline into chaos, which is the sad state that Pakistan finds itself in today.
The party was constituted under the Political Parties Order of 2002 by Nadeem Mumtaz Qureshi who is also its first chairman.
Party Structure
Mustaqbal is not a traditional political party. It believes that its officers' names and faces are nowhere near as important as their policies. The party's officers were never politicians, rather they are professional people: professionals and business people, engineers and architects, doctors and lawyers, happy and well settled in their professional and personal lives.
