It believes in nationalism and democracy since it supports "public awareness and interest in national politics". It also believes the American people should take more interest in the "Office of the President" which would also mean that this party supports presidentialism. The 3rd Party also sees the use of "guest essays, an interactive forum and extensive links to internet resources" by visitors of the party's website who are of the general public as helping to democratically "shape the party platform". That is what this party sees as "direct input" from the American people who are shaping this party into "a vehicle that unifies America in the 21st Century". that helps to The party also sees "political discourse" and an "ongoing re-evaluation of our own beliefs" as helping the party widen its "understanding of opposing views". 3rd party also believes in creating an "informed electorate" by providing website links of various political parties rivaling each other. It also tries to get people and political parties of any political orientation to find any kind of way to "build political consensus" on any kind of issue.
