Handi Irawan D

Handi Irawan D. (born in Solo, Central Java, 1 April 1964, age 46 years old) is an Indonesian businessman. He started his career as a marketing expert in Frontier Consulting Group, a marketing research and consulting firm that he founded in 1997.
Known as the best content & knowledge-based speaker in Indonesia and a consultant with tons of ideas, Handi Irawan D. is the initiator of various popular awards in Indonesia such as: Top Brand Award, IMAC (Indonesia’s Most Admired Companies), ICSA (Indonesian Customer Satisfaction Award) and Marketing Award. He is also the author of many popular marketing strategy books.
From 2001 - 2006, Handi Irawan was the president of AMA-Indonesia, the largest management organization in Indonesia that has 15 branches throughout Indonesia. In 2003, Handi Irawan established the National Customer’s Day, officiated by the 5th Indonesian President, and is celebrated every September 4. Because of that, Harian Bisnis Indonesia calls him Father of Customer Satisfaction. In 2010, Handi Irawan D. initiated Rekor Bisnis (ReBI) and at the same time acts as the founder of TERA Foundation.
An alumnus of Executive Programs in Harvard Business School and Kellogg Business School, Handi Irawan is still active as the writer of Winning Strategy column in Majalah Marketing and as a writer in other media such as SWA, Bisnis Indonesia, BusinessWeek and Business Review. He is also the host of “Marketing with Handi Irawan” program on Radio PasFM.
