Mun S. Quan (July 14, 1917 - November 19, 2000) was a landscape painter in the Chinese tradition and a professor and medical scientist at the Florida State Board of Health. Life He was born in 1917 in Canton, China and his family settled in Jacksonville, Florida in 1926. Quan studied at the Canton Academy of Art and with Ko-Kim Fu in Canton, China as well as with Nicholas Volpe in Jacksonville, Florida. He was a professor of art at Jacksonville University from the early '70s to the early '90s. He became chief of painting at Jacksonville University. Artist Barbara Januszkiewicz studied with him.
