Muhammad Wala Town is situated in Chiniot District in Punjab province of Pakistan. Geography Northern side In North Side, Mamola, Wijhlka is located to the north side of Muhammad Wala. Most of the population lives in old villages while a colony was also settled by Prime Minister Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto in 70s for non landowning people. And also a number of populations are living in north side after the development of a link road between and Lalian and Jhang which is called Muhammad Wala. Southern side The village Muhammad Wala is situated in some distance about 1 km from the Thana Muhammad Wala along with canal. Dera Rai Mali Kharal is also located near Thana Muhammad Wala. Adjoining villages Lalian is just 25 km from Muhammad Wala. Adjoining Villages in North are Mamola, Wijhalka, Kaloka, Kalri, Ahmed Wala, Inayatpur and Sheikhen whole across the river Nonan Wala. On the south side Thana Muhammad Wala, Sarrowala, Pir Punja, Barana, Tarkhanwala,. Thatti Bala Raja is located east side of the TarkhanWala. Education system (Talemi Idary) There are Government primary schools for boys in the village. That has been serving since before the partition, Government primary schools for girls, while three private secondary co schools namely Jinnah Cadet School set almost 5 years. Sun Rise School which has appears recently in 2011. Language The dominant language is Punjabi Language while Urdu is also spoken. Culture The dominant culture of the region is a civilized form of Bari Culture i.e. the culture of Sandal Bar area though physically this area is not the part of Sandal Bar region. Sandal Bar is some mile away from here across the river Chenab. Calendar Along with the modern Gregorian Calendar the traditional Bikrami calendar and the in religious matters Islamic Hijri Calendar are followed here. Religious events like Births and Deaths of Masoomen (A.S) are followed according to Islamic Hijri Calendar while official events like school exams etc. are performed according to Gregorian calendar but Bikrami Calendar is popular and has its roots in people. There is also a Madersa near Muahmmad Wala named Nor Alqamr. On the other hand, Sunni boys and girls get their religious education in their respective Madrasas situated in the vicinity of Mosques. The excellent and second to none show-up of brotherhood can be seen on the occasion of Ashura every year, when Shi'a Muslims are in processions while Sunni Muslims are making arrangements of Sabeel for them. The main sources of travelling on this road, are van, Cars, Jeep, Parodo, buses and Motorcycles. There is also some people who use cycle for travel from one side to another. Shopkeepers prefer Motor Cycle to go the city for purchasing from Lalian and Silanwali. Bus system has a long route from Jhang to Lalian but Vans start their route from Muhammad Wala to Lalian and vice versa. Air If one intends to come here by air, one must pick a flight to Faisalabad where one can hire a car to reach Jhang city and then into Muahmmad Wala. Or one can avail a public transport that is van or bus from Faisalbad to Lalian and then again have to pick a van or auto bus from Lalian Jhang Mor (Bus Terminal) to Muhammad Wala. * Pakistan International Airlines has 2 daily flights to Faisalabad-Multan-Lhaore * Shaheen Air has 1 daily flight to Faisalabad * Airblue has 1 daily flight to Faisalabad Rail The location can be reached by Lalian (FaisalAbad-Sargodha Mainline) branch line.
