Dorset Coast is a freeware download route made by David Corfield for Microsoft Train Simulator. There have been a total or five versions which are released at UKTrainSim and train-sim.com. The route goes from London Waterloo to Weymouth with branching off lines to Reading and Portsmouth, plus including the London Suburban Area. In real life this line operated by South West Trains, the stock for line is available from UKTrainSim. There well over a hundred activities available for Dorset Coast. You are able to drive trains in Microsoft Train Simulator and downloading Dorset Coast allows you drive freely around SWT track. The Dorset Coast route is a train simulator is South West Trains. To drive this you require the MSTS1 CD. About & History Microsoft Train Simulator has many routes for it. Dorset Coast is one of of the other thousand routes available around the world. Dorset Coast is one of the longest routes available in MSTS1. The route was originally from Weymouth to Southampton but then was extended to Basingstoke. Further on Dave extended the route to Waterloo in London where the old Eurostar, Waterloo International was. This in route also included the Reading branch. On Christmas Day 2006, version four of the route was released. The route then included London Suburban lines. After a year of waiting, version five was released. You were now able to drive a train from Waterloo to Portsmouth. Version Six of Dorset Coast has been discusses, and if released would be available on DVD. Salisbury would be included (Via Southampton) adding a lot more mileage to the already vast route. Dorset Coast is the largest and most downloaded freeware route add-on for MSTS1.
