Anwat Gar is a fictional island country set in the fictional planet of Eternia. It's location is somewhere on the Ocean of Gnarl. It exists in the Mike Young Productions and MV Creations incarnation of the He-Man and the Masters of the Universe update Anwat Gar was first referenced and seen in the Mike Young Productions season one He-Man and the Masters of the Universe update episode "The Mystery of Anwat Gar." According to Man-At-Arms, Anwat Gar was once a renowned for it's legendary weaponry. In the time frame of the series, we only see Modern Anwat Gar. An all but desereted island, with temples and statues that are reminiscent of East asian earth locales. Anwat Gar is home to Sy-Klone solitary defender of the Legacy Stones and seemingly the last resident of the mysterious island. It's is believed that the name Anwat Gar comes from the real life Angkor Wat and the visual look of Anwat Gar supports this theory. |
