Mrs2Be

Mrs2Be (now part of Weddingsonline) was an Irish media company that published content for couples getting married and provided a lead generation service to businesses within the wedding industry. It was formed in Ireland in 2009 by husband and wife, Keith Malone and Claire Malone. The company headquarters were located in Bray in County Wicklow.
History
In July 2012, Mrs2Be acquired 100% of a Welsh-based business also called Mrs2Be to facilitate expansion of the brand into the UK market.
In May 2016, a press release announced that Mrs2Be was acquired by its largest competitor Weddingsonline for an undisclosed sum. According to the announcement, the original founders, Keith and Claire Malone, were to remain as advisers.
Industry contribution
Mrs2Be facilitated annual awards known as ‘The Brides’ Choice Awards’ for the Irish wedding industry to recognise businesses and individuals who provided an excellent quality of service to couples getting married. The awards were held each Summer.
Each year since 2011, Mrs2Be released a comprehensive study that analysed the shifting trends and attitudes of Irish-based couples planning their wedding in Ireland or abroad. The findings of the company’s annual surveys were regularly featured in the Irish media.
