Moutheater is a noise rock, post-punk and metal band from the Hampton Roads area of Virginia that is currently on the Nashville based label Thrashed Records. Their debut 7 inch entitled Lot Lizard was recorded by Steve Albini (Big Black, , , The Pixies, High On Fire, Nine Inch Nails, The Jesus Lizard) at Electrical Audio in Chicago, IL during the summer of 2007 and included artwork by Dwid Hellion of . They've toured and played shows with various acts including Trap Them, Prideswallower, , Fight Amputation, , Gunna Vahm, and Disnihil. Moutheater has recently teamed up with German band Vegas for a split 7 inch that also includes artwork by Dwid Hellion. The Moutheater full length entitled "Ornament" is expected to be out in April of 2009.
