Motion RC is an online retailer of radio-controlled (RC) aircraft and accessories, including airplane, helicopter, and drone models. Motion RC ships products from its American distribution center to customers worldwide.
History
The company was founded in 2013 in Cary, Illinois by Tom Ellison and Mark Goetze. With more than 40 years of combined management experience and a shared passion for radio control models, Ellison and Goetze founded Motion RC to provide a better way for customers and hobbyists to shop for RC products.
Motion RC is a Veteran-owned business, with Goetze having served in the US Navy. Motion RC supports active duty and retired military personnel with various initiatives. The company offers shipping to service members at all military APO/FPO addresses around the world.
Motion RC also serves a resource and knowledge base for beginner, intermediate, advanced, and expert flyers. The staff regularly updates the RC Knowledge Blog with new topics about RC aviation and Motion RC operates HobbySquawk Forum, a free community for RC enthusiasts.
