MOSES SOLEMON Moses Solemon (1958 - ) Moses Solemon, Canadian businessman and consultant. Born in Kuwait, with roots in the holy lands, Moses was the eldest boy among three children. His father worked for an oil company. He studied marine engineering in and later obtained a degree in business management. He is based is in Ottawa, Canada. Moses wrote three books (in business management, international business, and world economy) and published more than one hundred articles on subjects related to global economy, business projects, and management. The principles of his economic thought are based on equality to all, the welfare of the state, and justice in governance. As member of the Liberal Party of Canada he is a strong defender of public freedoms and diversity. Through his early work in the refining industry in 1984, on computerized maintenance management systems, he was able to develop the first Integrated Data Base Model which became later the basic structure for Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems for large corporations in computing. His first book “Restructuring Business Organizations” was founded on this idea which inspired IT companies and management consulting firms. Mr. Solemon worked later as international business consultant for world leading energy companies in oil and gas as well as power generation. He is the founding partner of Canada Business Holdings Inc.
