Mobpodcast is a combination of the terms moblog and podcasting. A mobile podcast, or mobpodcast, consists of audio content posted to the Internet from a mobile or portable device, such as a cellular phone or PDA that is then made accessible through the RSS 2.0 file format. This technique could enable near real-time on location outside broadcast style radio shows.
