Miniweb Interactive Ltd enables converged broadcast and broadband entertainment on the TV, with a Connected TV Services Platform allowing easy navigation and consumption of internet video. Miniweb’s Platform provides a seamless experience across all content providers and empowers the viewer with global search, recommendations, micro payments, community, and personalization functions. The connected TV services platform can be customized by content owners, device OEMs and operators and enables them to benefit from new revenue streams generated by micro payments and advertising. The platform enables new video publishers to easily add their content via simple metadata feeds, making it the most efficient route to TV audiences as it doesn’t require building device-specific TV Applications. Leadership Jerome de Vitry - CEO Jerome has worked in various companies of Completel Europe NV, in positions including President - Completel SAS (1999-2001), COO Completel Europe NV (2001-2002), President and CET - Completel Europe NV (2002-2007). He successfully managed the above companies and was responsible, among other things, for the financial and operational restructuring, development and implementation of a new strategy increasing commercial presence of the company’s products and services. He established Completel as the largest operator specializing in the business sector, and as the third largest business operator in France, after France Telecom and Neuf-Cegetel. Prior to this he worked for Alcatel NV from 1990 to 1998 holding senior management positions, and the Boston Consulting Group in Paris. Jerome graduated from Ecole Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées in France, were he was awarded an engineer degree in 1984 and in 1985 he received an MBA from INSEAD, France. Ian Valentine - Founder and Chief Architect Ian graduated from Southampton University with a BSc in Electronic and Information Engineering, and a Diploma of Engineering Management. From 1993 to 1999, Ian pioneered the deployment of large scale distributed Unix systems and Business Process Management infrastructures to the Call Center (CRM) industry world wide. Ian was responsible for the first Customer Interaction solutions that made use of Interactive TV facilities. A genuine industry visionary and leader, he has been at the leading edge of Internet/TV convergence since 1999. Experienced in the Digital Media and Television industries, with 7 years at Sky, he has advised the UK and European governments on Interactive TV technology and has published 2 ETSI standards and 8 Patents. Ian led the MBO creating Miniweb from his department at Sky. Prior to founding Miniweb, he served 4 years as Technical Alliances Director of Sky New Media, and was a founder member of BSkyB's R&D steering committee. Prior to working full time for Sky, Ian was co-founder (with Patrick Sansom) and Operations Director of waptv, the company which Sky acquired to obtain the technology which powered "Red Button" interactive advertising and Channel services, as well as online betting and other 3rd party services using Internet delivered content. Between 2008 and 2011, Miniweb developed an advanced Connected TV services platform, capable of enabling an unlimited number of online Video Publishers with distribution and monitisation services for a wide range of incompatible Connected TV technologies and manufacturers. Ian left Miniweb in 2011, after the company was re-aligned by its investors to focus on the Adult Entertainment market.
